Glacialis is now the premium and finest brand for Frozen at Sea Cod and Haddock from Norebo. Friars Pride is in direct partnership with Norebo delivering MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) Certified fresh frozen sea fillets to UK Fish & Chip Shops.
During 2017, Ocean Trawlers changed company name to Norebo. This change was made to every part of their business in every country they operate. Whilst there is a change in name, Norebo outlines that there will be no change to the quality. They will still be producing the same great tasting, high quality fish. The company started fishing in 1997 and has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of Cod and Haddock from the Arctic waters of the North Atlantic.
What the change in company and brands means for customers is that the premium brand of Atlantika fillets became part of the Glacialis brand. This is the new brand chosen to represent their very finest Fresh Frozen at Sea fillets and will be supplied by Friars Pride.
Norebo remains stalwart in their commitment to sustainability so you can have confidence with every catch. They built their reputation as Ocean Trawlers, now as Norebo the company intends to develop further and to improve service, quality and reliability long into the future.
The company continues to have ten fishing trawlers supplying into the Glacialis brand, just as before. Their method of fishing with multiple vessels means that you can be supplied with the Glacialis brand all year round. The process offers continuity of supply of Glacialis Cod and Haddock.
