Q Partnership

The Q Partnership was established in 1986 and is a legal limited company entity.  Friars Pride, V A Whitley and Henry Colbeck are the three partner companies. We are all family businesses with a long history of supplying the fish and chip and catering markets.

Offering 13 distribution points across the UK, together through the Q Partnership, Friars Pride and our partners can offer a nationwide distribution network.  With over 130 vehicles, over 1,200 product lines, supplying over 9,000 fish and chip shops the Q Partnership employs over 400 people.

Frozen at Sea Fish

The Q Partnership are suppliers of Frozen at Sea cod and haddock to fish and chip shops, takeaways, and caterers. We have exclusive partnerships with trawler companies, such as Rammi and their trawler The Solberg. With our links we can provide a continuous supply of cod and haddock throughout the year. The Frozen at Sea fish we supply is sourced from sustainable fishing grounds.

Save & Select Loyalty Scheme

The Save & Select loyalty scheme is a long-running scheme which is available to customers of the three Q Partnership companies, Henry Colbeck, Friars Pride and V A Whitley. Save & Select points are available on a range of products and can be redeemed for rewards, such as vouchers or credit.

Trade Shows

Each of the Q Partnership companies also hold a trade exhibition. These exhibitions attract customers from the fish and chip catering sector who are looking for innovative new products and promotions. At the show you will find opportunities to taste products, talk to suppliers and network with other fish and chip shops and caterers.
