National Fish and Chip Awards Top 60 Announced

Seafish have announced the top 60 fish and chip shops who are up for the top 60 in the National Fish and Chip Awards. The awards are organised by Seafish, the public body that helps and supports the UK seafood industry.

This award celebrates the excellence in the fish and chip industry and helps increase the standards, but also covers a range of other criteria, including; sustainability sourcing, innovation and staff development.

Seafish have completed the first round of judging and have announced the top 60 shops, let’s find out who has made it.

What’s Next?

To become the 2020 National Fish and Chip Award winner there are many stages the shops must go through. This includes mystery shoppers who will visit the business and test the product and service, on top of this there will be business performance audits and presentations before a winner will be announced. For now, the top 60 will go into the next round of judging and will then the top 20 shops will be selected.
