A customer who popped into his local chippy excitedly scratches off a Batchelors scratchcard, winning himself a free portion of delicious mushy peas, marking the beginning of the #peasydoesit campaign across Fish and Chip shops in the UK!
The Boundary Fish and Chip Shop in Peterborough, signed up for the campaign when it was first announced and are the first Friars Pride Marketing Club member to receive their Batchelors Mushy Peas #peasydoesit promotional pack, worth over £100!
General Manager Blair Butler couldn’t wait to get the campaign started in his shop, “Already the campaign has generated a real buzz in the shop – customers want to know what’s going on and are eager to get their hands on a scratch card after seeing other customer win prizes on the spot, especially the free portions of mushy peas. I would say it has definitely increased mushy pea orders and also attracted additional younger customers too. It’s very straight-forward for my staff, they just have to hand over a scratch card and prize if their customer is a winner – simple”.
Each promotional pack contains 800 scratch cards that you hand to your customers to win prizes.
Prizes include FREE Portions of Batchelors Mushy Peas, Batchelors Branded Pens and Key rings. The main prize of a Ticket to Chessington World of Adventures Resort is clearly advertised on the posters in order to draw attention to the campaign.
