Friars Pride gets into the festive spirit with local fundraising

Friars Pride staff have chosen to get into the festive spirit by fundraising for two very worthwhile local causes.

After hearing about a local appeal to help a Peterborough mother, Zoe Rowell, who was seriously injured in a car accident in October this year, staff of Friars Pride wanted to pledge their support of her two young sons who are facing Christmas with their mother in Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.
Staff rallied together to give a hamper filled with treats to relatives for Ryan, 4 and Oliver, 7, along with a charitable donation to help towards the cost of Christmas.
The team have also been collecting food for their annual donation to the local soup kitchen in Peterborough. The charity feeds over 1000 homeless and disadvantaged people of Peterborough and is funded by donations.
