Field To Frier Open Day 2016 – a fantastic day for the industry!

On Sunday 11th September, over 100 visitors from Fish and Chip businesses, suppliers and industry members attended the Field to Frier Open Day 2016, organised with Isle of Ely Produce and Chippy Chat.

Fish and Chip shop owners and managers gained insight into the journey of the potato – right from seedling to field, farm and packing at one of the biggest potato farmers in Cambridgeshire, Legge Farms.
The Field To Frier Open Day 2016 was also filled with opportunities to network with other business owners and sponsors on the day, with a jam-packed schedule of key speakers with industry relevant topics. Topics covered included portion control, protecting your business, tips and ideas to market your business, National Fish and Chip Award winners’ stories and much more.
