Sunday 23rd February 2014 saw the return of the annual ultimate exhibition for the Fish & Chip and Fast Food trade – FRY I.T. 2014, held at Peterborough Arena.
Live cooking demonstrations, sampling new and existing products, innovations, deals and exclusive promotions were just a few of the features of the action packed day.
Back by popular demand, The Drywite Equipment Shop, did not disappoint with a wide range of specialist tools and exciting discounts. Also, the exclusive offers and show deals available to only those who attended FRY I.T. 2014 met with a positive response. And with over 80 stands, ranging from widely known brands to new innovations to the trade, there was something for everyone.
Some took to the food but those hungry for knowledge took advantage of special business-benefiting seminars with leading market specialists, sharing valuable tips and pointers on improving sales and getting the most out of your business.
Children were catered for as Friars Pride is a family-run business with families of our customers at heart. Face painting, balloon modelling, competitions and a great atmosphere made up for a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
Friars Pride Sales and Marketing Executive Roxanne Bonin said: “We are very pleased with the turnout and the outcome FRY I.T.2014. With a variety of stands, ranging from catering products to new marketing tools for businesses and the latest frying equipment, there was plenty to see.
There was also a chance to meet the Captain of one of our sustainably sourced fish trawlers, while taking advantage of exclusive show deals and offers, family entertainment and sample new products. FRY I.T. 2014 was a success and we hope everyone who attended had a great day and enjoyed meeting the Friars Pride ‘family’.”
The show will be back in 2015 with even more attractions and exciting offers. Details will be announced later in the year.
More details of the FRY I.T. 2014 pre- registration winner of an iPad Air will be released shortly.
See you next year!
